America's Communist movement owed a lot to Jewish support.


The Depression accelerated a process of radicalization that had begun in the immediate aftermath of the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917. In the early post-revolutionary years, a left wing sprang up with the American Socialist party, favoring affiliation with the Comintern [the international Communist movement]. When the radicals were defeated at the Socialist convention in 1919, they bolted and attached themselves to the Communists.

Among Jews, this element was always a minority, even within the extensive Jewish Socialist movement. But they were a hair-shirt minority. It happened that the early postwar immigration of East European Jews included many veterans of the Bolshevik Revolution and the Russian civil wars.

radical politics

In the early 1920s, it was these militant newcomers who dramatically augmented the radicals’ leadership. Their first and principal target was the large reservoir of Jews still laboring in the garment industry. Among the needle workers, the old flaming Socialist idealism had been fading steadily during the 1920s. At the same time, unwilling to risk union treasuries or their own salaries, officials of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and the Amalgamated Clothing Workers had become perfunctory in their negotiations with management. Their flaccidity in turn proved raw meat for the Communists. Dogmatic and fiery, the latter now hurled themselves into the effort to capture the ILGWU’s and Amalgamated’s central offices and committees….

Jewish Leadership
Yet, if the Communists evoked little support from American Jewry at large, the party leadership continued to include a disproportionate number of Jews. Among these were Jay Lovestone, Benjamin Gitlow, William Weinstone, Bertram D. Wolfe, and Israel Amster. Well before the Depression, too, Jews contributed a significant share of the Communist party’s votes (although, again, this represented a distinct minority of all Jewish ballots cast). In the presidential elections of 1924 and 1928, about one-quarter of the 50,000 votes cast on both occasions for William Z. Foster, the Communist party’s nominee, came from New York, and almost certainly most were cast by Jews.

In 1925, the 22,000 circulation of Freiheit, the journal of the Jewish Socialist (Communist) Federation, actually exceeded the Daily Worker‘s 17,000. The tight Jewish nucleus re­mained in place throughout the 1920s, despite the party’s relentless opposition both to Judaism and to Zionism as “reactionary” influences. It was this group, too, that saw its best opportunity following the Wall Street crash.

Depression & the Jewish Radical Left
In the Great Depression of the 1930s, radicalism flowered for one of the few times in American history. Although the actual membership of the various leftist parties remained small, their impact far ex­ceeded their size. Norman Thomas, the Socialist presidential candi­date, polled almost 900,000 votes in the 1932 election; William Z. Foster, the Communist presidential candidate, polled some 100,000 votes. A General Electric engineer in Sche­nectady could run for secretary of state of New York on the Communist ticket without losing his job. Distinguished American intellectuals such as Max Eastman, Rockwell Kent, John Dos Passos, and Edmund Wilson could flaunt their leftist credentials and their admiration for Soviet collectivism.

One after another, major American industries that had long resisted union organization capitulated to the CIO–the mili­tant Congress of Industrial Organizations–whose organizers included an important minority of Socialists, Communists, even Trotskyites. Jews were prominent among these radical elements. It was significant, however, that few of them were themselves workers. In the garment industry, earlier, Jews had learned through bitter experience how little the Communists were concerned with actual laboring and living conditions. Although Jewish unions would remain distinctly left-of-center well into the late 1920s and early I930s, it was no longer from them that the Communist party would draw its most impressionable Jewish sympathizers when the Great Depression struck.

Rather, the response came from a younger, white-collar generation, Jews in their late teens and early 20s who were caught in suspended animation on the threshold of economic security. Most were recent college graduates. Many had just entered the white-collar ranks as teachers, government employees, and social workers. Now their hopes of economic security and “respectability” lay blasted, ap­parently by an incorrigibly ruthless economic system.

Opposition to Fascism & Anti-Semitism
Even had so­cialism not been their family’s and their people’s tradition, it did not escape these embittered young Jews, blocked in mid-passage by de­pression and discrimination, that the Soviet leadership evidently had taken the lead in mobilizing resistance to fascism and anti-Semitism abroad and that the Communist party in the United States positioned itself in the forefront of every campaign for racial and economic jus­tice.

From 1934 on, too–reflecting Moscow’s new Popular Front ap­proach–the Communists abandoned the former anti-Judaist and anti-Zionist propaganda of earlier years and appealed directly to Jews on issues of major Jewish concern. In 1937, the Yiddish Cultural Alli­ance, a Communist-front group established in New York, began issu­ing a monthly literary journal, Yidishe Kultur, that dutifully parroted Communist appeals for unity against anti-Semitism and “world reac­tion.” The Communists even could say a kind word now for Jewish workers in Palestine, while the American Jewish Communist leader Moses Olgin informed his bewildered Jewish comrades that “we must learn not to scoff at religion.”

Jewish Influence
So it was, during these years of communism’s resurgence, that the Jewish component surfaced even more vividly than it had a decade earlier, in the aftermath of the Bolshevik Revolution. By now, New York accounted for about one-fifth of the party’s national member­ship, and that one-fifth was predominantly Jewish. All the senior edi­tors of the Daily Worker were Jews. If the party failed to make headway in the ILGWU or the Amalgamated (well immunized by the events of the 1920s), it successfully infiltrated white-collar unions, with their extensive Jewish membership of teachers, social workers, office workers, government employees, and retail clerks. It organized a spe­cial section to penetrate Jewish community centers, Jewish federa­tions, national Jewish organizations.

The West Coast office of the American Jewish Congress was almost entirely compromised by fel­low travelers. At the annual conference of the Federation of Jewish Social Welfare Agencies in 1932, the much-respected chairman, Jacob Billikopf, was nearly unseated in favor of a hard-core Communist. In 1934, radicals in the Jewish Social Workers Association defected to form the Association of Practitioners in Jewish Social Agencies–a Communist front.

Altogether, tens of thousands of Jews throughout the country were drawn to Communist-front organizations, particularly to the various “anti-Fascist” groups. One of the most popular of these, founded in 1937, was the American League against War and Fascism, later to be renamed the American League for Peace and Democracy. The Jew­ish People’s Committee against Fascism and Anti-Semitism was formed in 1939, when the American Jewish Congress rejected applicants from the leftist International Workers Organization.

Impres­sionable and idealistic, students were uniquely susceptible to these leagues and alliances. In 1936, the American Student Union–later the American Youth Congress–listed 200,000 members, of whom possibly a fourth were Jews. For these young people, witnessing the rise of anti-Semitism in Europe and experiencing raw discrimina­tion at home, almost any “progressive” movement would have claimed their loyalty. But with their own strong Jewish cultural traditions, they were particularly impressed by the intellectualism of the Left, by a movement that included so many admired thinkers, writers, and other individuals of cultivated tastes.



The Conquest of the World by the Jews

In obedience to an unchangeable law of nature,
men strive to ameliorate their own condition at
the expense of others.
From this fact originated the many jealous contests
and wars wherein men seek to excel each other.
The manner in which these wars and contests are
conducted, is determined by principles, that differ from
each other according to the geographical position,
the social and political condition, and the spirit peculiar to the contesting people. These principles, that
thus form the basis of the work of conquest, are of
three kinds:
1. The Principle of Physical Force.
2. The Theocratic Principle, whereby the masses
are subjected to a religious faith.
3. The Principle of Material Interests, which enslaves people by financial oppression.
The first two kinds of principles we assume to be
well-known, for the history of Rome and Greece in
ancient times, as well as the history of the Papacy
and of Russia and Germany in modern times, is simply
the illustration of the application of those principles.
They are the causes, that gave rise to those Powers,
and founded their predominance by physical and
moral means.
But the conquests of the third category, that is,
those which result from the application of the principle of material interests, show us a peculiar and altogether novel phenomenon.
In this case material interests take the place of
physical force, or religious faith, and become the
basis as well as the moving springs of the work o f
conquest. But the principle of material interests is
in itself much more powerful than the other principles, as matters are arranged in this world now, no
one being able to escape from its power. Fo r a principle, which is based on the necessity of existence, on
the element of life, is a universal principle, to which
we all are subject at present. Our material interests form a central point toward which all human
inclinations and desires tend; and hence their possession is equivalent to universal dominion.
A conquest founded on the principle of material
interests is not a victory of strength over weakness,
nor a victory of knowledge over ignorance, but a
victory of cunning over confidence and carelessness.
Its endeavor is to obtain control of all the means o f
existence, and absorb all the wealth of nations;
thereby subjecting them, in the end, to the arbitrary
rule of the conqueror.
It is our purpose in this essay to explain the mode
and manner of this conquest, and to expose clearly
and strikingly the rise of the Jewish power, and its
wonderful development in our days.
The Jewish people has, in all probability, been the
first one to discover that secret power—the principle
of material interests.
A t any rate, this people is the only one, which has
understood how to utilize that principle as a means
of conquest If we examine history closely, we are
struck by the fact, that the Jews have, from the earliest
times, used this principle as a weapon wherewith to
fight other people, and as a basis for the erection of
their religious, social and political structure.
A n attentive study of Jewish history enables us to
become acquainted with the spirit and character of
the Jewish people, and properly to appreciate its endeavors and purposes. Unfortunately, in following
this study we are left exclusively to the documents
and reports which the Jews themselves have seen fit
to transmit to us. If the Philistines, the Pharaohs
and the other opponents of the Jews had left us historical memorials, the history of the "chosen people"
would sound quite differently from what we read it
But a philosophical analysis of the Old Testament
will, after all, be amply sufficient to give us a correct
estimation of the achievements of the Jewish people.


The weakening of the Roman rule and the invasions of the barbarians, brought about a period of
transition, which vastly favored the expansion of the
Jewish element. Placed between two other elements,
of which the one was enervated and the other in a
state of barbarism, the Jews managed to push themselves imperceptibly forward and to strike firm root
in the lands conquered by the barbarians. It is true,
that the Christian Church and the feudal power opposed hostile measures to their advance, and even
checked their development; but the Jews did not allow themselves to be held back by any such obstacles,
and contrived to cripple the hostility of both priests
and nobles. There is only one hostility, which the
Jews fear; it is that which assumes the shape of
competition, and attacks them on their own field; that
is, the principle of material interests. So long as
you allow the Jews quietly to accumulate money they
care about nothing else; on the contrary, they mocked
behind their backs both the victors by force of arms
and the victors by the spiritual principle.
Whil e Europe during this time was separated into
many nations and empires, the Jews scattered
over all the trading places, taking up their abode
there in order to carry on trade and usury.
It is true, that their riches, and especially the
means by which they gathered them together,
often drew upon them cruel persecutions; but
these acts of violence were only temporary and not
powerful enough to stem the rising tide of Jewish
conquest, which daily gained more territory.
Thus Jewish establishments penetrated into the
chief commercial centres of Europe. One body of
Jews settled in Venice, another in Genoa, while at
the same time colonies arose in the chief cities of
Spain, the Netherlands, Germany and Poland. These
bodies, although scattered over an extensive territory,
formed a firmly connected, homogeneous union, exercising its activity under the impulse of a single motive power, the principle of material interests.
This assertion, that the dispersed members of the
Jewish race formed a united and fearful body, is by
no means an airy phrase, but a truth, which can be
proved with mathematical exactness.
A s a first proof of this fact we point out, that even
in the midst of the present civilization of the Western
nations the link of race union, which chains Jew to
Jew, is much stronger than the link which connects
a Jew with a Christian.
The second proof is the circumstance, that the
same religious and historical traditions, as well as the
same race union, exists among all the Jews from one
end of the world to the other, from Kamtchatka to
San Francisco, in the midst of civilized Europe as
well as in the centre of Asia . This whole scattered
and yet united body is animated by a single idea, by
a single faith: That its members are the "chosen people," and that the treasures of this world are their inheritance. Question, as we have often had occasion
to do, the Jewish marauder, who travels over the

The standard history of Freemasonry as beginning with the formation of the Grand Lodge in 1717 is Whig history in every sense of the term. For political reasons, Anderson's Constitutions deliberately obscured the real history of the Craft, causing consternation among scholars who could not make sense of historical documents that proved the lodge existed at least a century before. The goal of this addictive material, supposedly, is to neuter and desexualize white men, and ultimately doom the white race. This is where the alt-right theory of porn ties into the larger theory of white genocide. Why the disproportionate Jewish presence in porn? Abrams suggests it was the same reason Jews dominated Hollywood from early on — it was an industry with a low barrier of entry and little respect from polite society. But Abrams says this alt-right conspiracy theory of porn is nothing new; it’s just the latest incarnation of a longstanding association of Jews with prostitution, STDs and sexual perversion. Hitler spent several pages of Mein Kampf bemoaning the spread of syphilis via Jewish pimps and prostitutes, which he feared could jeopardize the continuation of the Aryan race. The Nazis even had an umbrella term for prostitution, pornography, homosexuality, abortion and other forms of sexual degeneracy — “sexual Bolshevism,” which, like the “cultural Marxism” the alt-right blames everything on, is just a short hop away from blaming the Jews.

Even when they haven’t been anti-Semitic, critics of so-called sexual degeneracy have long been motivated by a desire to preserve the white race. As this ContraPoints video explains, the modern concept of degeneracy developed in the same post-Enlightenment stew as scientific racism. European and North American elites fretted that industrialization, urbanization and cosmopolitanism would transform vigorous white men into, well, beta cucks. Their societies would then weaken and decay until they were overpowered by more robust outsiders, just as the Huns and Visigoths supposedly conquered Rome because it was too busy having genderqueer orgies. “Impotent, decadent manhood,” writes historian Gail Bederman, would bring about “race suicide.”


They like to point out that in 2016 Israel passed a law blocking all internet porn sites by default, requiring users to contact their ISP if they want access. In other words, the alt-right claims, Jews know porn is bad for you; they only want to spread the virus to other societies.

 Abrams argues that Jews have been, and continue to be, disproportionately influential in the American porn industry. He discusses such figures as Reuben Sturman, who built an adult-bookstore empire and became the nation’s largest smut distributor during the 1970s and 1980s; and Al Goldstein, the Screw magazine cofounder who first outed J. Edgar Hoover and gave Deep Throat (the film, not Hoover’s erstwhile deputy associate) its first signal boost.
